Have a look at the specs here and it states that they have LG Compressors,
Type in this in to amazon and you will see,
Alpicool CX30 Portable Refrigerator
The Alpicools I have seen have the LG Compressor,
The cooling Ratiator on yours are different, It looks like the ones you see on the back of Domestic fridge thats been folded over and over.
My ARB has one that looks like a Cars AirCon Radiator, Which is made up of Copper tubes and Aluminium...
Yeah John, The Alpicool has really taken off and loads of people are putting their brand on them,
If I didn't have too many now I would of bought an Alpicool long ago.
Forget the snob value with all the known brands The Alpicool is the one to go for,
Why ?? because they have an LG Compressor and LG don't make Junk,
And the 22L/25Qt ?? or what ever 22L equals will use less power than my little Dometic 18L and it uses between 4 or 5 Ah per 24 hours when temps...
I own 5 Fridges, 2 are ARB's and the others are made by Dometic and Snomaster, To be honest I can't see any reason why whynter / Alpicool should not be as good as the brands I own, And although I would always keep the ARB's I would willing of bought either the Whynter / Alpicool models over the...
When at home raise it up 18"+ and in the vehicle try and raise it up by about 4" if possible then it won't suck in the dust etc or what ever is on the floor,
In homes the damp normally from below the floors so it pays to keep them off the ground,
I cleaned mine out back in the Summer after 4 and a half year of non stop use, The secrete is to keep them around 18"+ up off the floor then the problem will be halved,
hope that helps.
I think it is quite a pointless thread because many items are called many things across the globe from country to country, Take Dodge Vans, One is a Mercedes and the smaller ones are actually Peugeot and Citroens which are GARBAGE and RUST BUCKETS with very cheap plastic breakable parts And The...
I trained as a Mechanic but I hate Auto Electrics, So apart from adding a couple of big batteries and an inverter and a charge controller and some Solar I really don't like over complicating things, I would rather install it and get it up and running instead of turning it in to a hobby, which is...
All I know is these Lithium Storage Units have made life so easy when it comes to collecting power from the Sun and transforming it in to useable energy in what would take us days to harvest using Our Deep Cycle Batteries with AGM being a lot better but not quite in the same league as Lithium...
Well we see many things marketed under many names I think the term SG is just away to band many brands under the one label, Most of us know that they are not a Generator and they can only store power or send it out as it is the solar Panel that does the Generating side of things with the help of...
Yep, I bought one panel that was 100w and then I got the bigger is better bug until I realized that I was going have to store them someplace In the van when not in use So then I bought a 120w folding panel, I think they are just about right for mobile use But those 150's I bought are just too...
Well I think you would need 2 or 3 150w panels in order to get the voltage up, I have found that my PLB 40 which is 512wh will do every thing a person needs for camping and it is easy to charge, The bigger the power box the longer you have to stay parked up trying to charge it and with a young...
Well I am running my 47L ARB from it right now and it ran for 24 hours 42 minutes and it only used 26% according to the meter, the ARB is set to 3*c/37*f in an abient temp of 14*c/57*f and it will run for 3 days + so you should get at leased 2 days from it in warmer temps, And if you have solar...
