BIRD KILLER!!! oh wait.... :)
The bird is amazingly sharp. It could use a little different crop though. And could use a little more seperation from the background.
If you didn't have the lens wide open, bump up the ISO so you can and still maintain a sharp subject. man, those claws and...
I'd try bumping up the saturation a bit and see what that does. it should bring out the rust more. I'd then bring up the blacks to make it a bit more harsh.
The first could be a bit better focused. And maybe change perspective a little, otherwise, take the joint in the pipes out of the middle. Hmmm....or maybe leave it where it is. I'm not sure.
The second is cool the way it is, I think.
A trick I tried the last time I was shooting some kind of...
I like the first picture composition a lot. My wife learned a silly phrase of Nepali while on a trek this year which is "rungee chungee dunga", which means many colored rocks (more or less) and this made me think of that and laugh. so maybe that's why I like it. Which is true of a lot of...
Ifyou mean taking the picture over again, I'd go a little lower and to the right with the camera to show a bit more truck (EVERYONE loves 'a little more truck' in their pictures). I'd move the plug up to the left third top third intersection and remove the foot. the focus and blur is great...

Thank you both for the replies. I've downloaded the link for the Wordpress plugin as that's what I'm using, but that's not quite what I'm looking for (while still being perfectly usable for some other things).
I'm looking more for something of a "where in the world have we been" logging. I...
Carey, where in Washington did you end up?
I'm recently getting back into turning my truck into more of a long range cmaping 110, but also gave up on the Dormobile idea, even though my wife liked it.
Hi there,
I've done some looking and can't quite find what I'm looking for. I'd like to include a mostly updated map on a blog. It can be on another page (meaning not the active blog page) but I'd also like to have a simple sidebar 125px wide image that can link to it from my main page...
I usually bring my wits for protection.
And a large medieval sheild. you pull that sucker out and people think you're nuts....but it's good protection from the spears and occasional lance attack.
I ordered one for my daughter.
Ok, I really ordered it for me to play the "Learn to program in python" game. :)
I'm interested to see how well it works. I doubt it will make Microsoft shiver much, I'm just glad to see the program moving along and getting these laptops into the hands of kids...
For Trade, a Dagger Bayou day kayak. See pictures for condition. This kayak is in good condition, being used about a dozen times. Comes with a spray skirt and paddle. Kayak is located on Whidbey Island in Washington.
Suggest your trade item. I'm looking for something that won't take up space...
Take a serious look at the Sigma 18-200. It doesn't have IS, which is annoyig until you get more used to it (I've been spoiled with IS on all my telephoto lenses).
Otherwise it is a really nice lens. My wife kept one on her Xti on a one month trek in Nepal this October. Last october she took...
