I think Q tech offers a Molle panel for consoles. Very similar to your above concept.

I recall a post some years ago, on another forum, Where a salvage distribution center was utilized. I can't remember if he used it as a fuse block, or robbed the underside contacts, and swapped them into his. Seems like either version would work!

On my last 2 new vehicles, '19 Ram,'21JLU, I have also applied Eastwood frame coat. I used it on most lower body seams, and blew it inside the rockers, and wheel wells. I also removed the tail lights, and applied to the body corners. Salt is used regularly on every road here, in S.E. Michigan...

Like it says in the link. If your dash lights are on, then ALL factory exterior lighting should be on!

The base pouch you show in the photo's is interesting. I have a driver's side under seat vault. From the photo's posted, it doesn't look like it would interfere with said vault. I wonder if a zipper like used on your headrest pouches, would make a nice option? Just a thought!

Consider aluminum bumpers and armor. Especially if you live in the rust belt. Neighbor around the corner has a Warn bumper, and it is very rusted!

As you mentioned, modification to the front of your truck will be necessary. Add to that the complications of air flow and visibility. Personally, I would opt to modify the bumper of the trailer.
