WTB: An ARB awning and room attachment (NM)

After searching the options, the ARB AWNING 2500 (ARB4401A) and the ARB TOURING AWNING ROOM WITH FLOOR 2500 (ARB4406A) would be a good fit for my Land Rover. The rtt didnt work for my dogs, and the SUV style tents aren't easy for one person to put up. SO! I'm now looking at this. I have a budget...

Suggestions for making my Series III ready for overlanding?

On another note, I've looked at trailers and didn't like any so far. I also looked at the rtts and the dogs didn't like the sensation when i was up there and they bolted. I even checked out the SUV tents that attach to the back/ tailgate. I guess I like the low profile low tech style travel. The...

Suggestions for making my Series III ready for overlanding?

Yep, I have no idea why it's Jerry cans, the history/ look? I don't know the other options. To be honest it's not like I go far into the middle of nowhere. I have about 150 mile range and rarely get out of reach of a gas station. And if it's late at night and the station is closed, well, I can...

Looks good though. The winch will take a while coming (money wise)...I have the roof rack on, the tail gate back on, and a screen to keep the dogs in and bugs out. I'm getting closer and closer!

    Backroads Camping/ Destination Expo 2015!

Hello Ian! Thanks for getting in touch! I loved your sweet set up there. Do you think you'll be back next year too? I'm going to take a couple of weeks off and slowly make my way back in the Series through the dirt roads and forests. Great photo too! And Mikey, stay in touch if ever you come...

Suggestions for making my Series III ready for overlanding?

Like the photo was in mind but I don't know. It seems like it would be a good way for water since I have to carry enough for three dogs and myself. Although the weight would be better in the middle wouldn't it, under the dog platform?

The Dogs of Overland Expo 2015

Well, funny you should mention dogs! I traveled with three, Harold, Rosie, and Oliver. Ollie was cold at night but the others loved the snow. Great travelers these pups.

Suggestions for making my Series III ready for overlanding?

I'm taking notes fellas! The book in the Rover is filling up fast with a wish list. My brother helped me put the roof rack back on for tent and lightweight gear. I'll put the extra water and heavy stuff under the dog bed in the back. I'm planning an overnight trip next week to a creek in the...

    LRNR 2015

I'm planning on making it to the Western Rally near Sedona, AZ as it's easier on my Series to get there. Let us know what you think of the LRNR. I went a few years ago and broke down five times in the three days trying to get there. The clutch went out north of Durango and I gave up! Never did...

Nice to meet you too! I'll have to look out for you and the G-wagon now, won't I? Did you build a platform in the back for yours? I have an extra gas tank but not sure how I'd attach it underneath but the other Rover I had, we used the space under the seats for gas tanks. I wish I'd paid more...
