    Death Valley: January 2013

We had about 3 inches of clearance between rock and sheetmetal there at the end. It was close but no problem. Great example of driver/spotter teamwork navigating successive obstacles.

    Triple Aught Design?

Unlike almost ALL other clothing of this genre available today, Triple Aught Design clothing is designed and made in USA (California), not China or Vietnam or Armpitistan. They sell every piece they sew and haven't reduced quality or outsourced to meet demand. I'll gladly pay more for the...

    Icon extended or standard coilovers??

You will not regret Icon external resis or UCA's, trust me. Better alignment with UCA's and smoother travel. I ran stock UCA's for a few years, the Icon UCA's made a big difference. I just came back from Death Valley/Saline Valley. The infamous Saline Valley washboards were WAY more palatable...

07 Auto Trans Not Shifting Smoothly 4th>5th

    Death Valley: January 2013

It's a crap shoot really. We were blessed with perfect weather, maybe into the mid to low 30's at night. But I've been there before at this time of year and froze... YMMV ;)

    Death Valley: January 2013

Striped Butte, Stella's, Mengel Pass, Barker Ranch, Goler Wash, Ballarat and home Day 4: After a quiet, windless night we woke to clear blue morning skies in Butte Valley. Mark and Heidi and I got in our morning PT by climbing Striped Butte. At 4,744 feet (1,445.97 meters) above sea level so it...
