Well I fired up my Tahoe Sunday and smelled gasoline, found fuel spraying out from the rear wheel well!:Wow1:
:Mechanic:We have a trip to go on wednesday, and I am wondering if anybody has any info on replacing the lines from the top of the tank to the frame rail.
I did not have time to work...
we see the SEAL teams around here use them to tow around and launch cigarette boats
they look like http://www.trucknstuffinc.com/news/newman/gfx/gallery/navytruck2.jpg
You may be able to use a timer relay like this one: http://ecatalog.squared.com/fulldetail.cfm?partnumber=9050JCK23V36
It might be a little pricey, but it would give you the ability to keep the lights on for a period of time after you get out and shut the door.
They use a constant power feed...
I may turn some people off, but I would never recommend a Crown Victoria as a daily driving vehicle unless you are an officer in a dept. that issues them and have had extensive training in driving a Crown Vic safely.
exactly, that is my point about the firearm often being a small part of a law enforcement officers job.
where is that beer somebody mentioned??:friday:
As far as the grit and grime goes, this is my G34 that i through in a mud puddle at one particular 3 gun match that was raining miserably. After I threw it in a buddy of mine stood on it, then I finished the match with it.
PS, the signature on the side is R. Lee Ermey's
Thanks, that is the point I was trying to get across. Now I do shot with police that are gun people, and they are good. A lot of times when somebody from law enforcement shows up to a match they are humbled very quickly.
No, most police officers are NOT highly trained with firearms, and many treat their firearms as a minor part of their jobs, like a flashlight or a ticket book. They may often become complacent with safety.
The person that chooses to carry a firearm in self defense does so because they WANT to...
I totally disagree.
If you learn the rules, know the rules, follow the rules, nobody has an accidental/negligent discharge.
A Glock is a great first pistol.
Charlie, with me, (and most people i have discussed this with) carrying causes me to want to avoid trouble more, ie: just letting go of a situation instead of pursuing it.
Another +1 on the Glock 20 here, and Doubletapammo
