i think 265/70-16 (~31in) is stock; 265/75-16 is about a 32in tire. the door sticker should tell you the OEM size; it will be in the door jam, and should also list GVWR, payload, tire pressures, VIN, etc.
86kmi is just breaking in a VG33E, but some people will tell you that you should not...

"Drawn over mandrel" it's a type of high-strength steel tubing. there's also HREW (hot rolled electric welded) and REW (which is really CREW or cold rolled). DOM is typically the strongest, but some REW is stronger than some DOM.
anyway, that's more hassle than you need. just get those HD...
the parts dept. at a chevy dealership should be able to help you. don't get your hopes up that it will work though.
if you had access to a welder, you could just slide some DOM over the outers and weld it up. IIRC, it's the outers that tend to bend.
