    Double cab long beds?

I love my DCLB. I have about 2 1/2" of lift and air bags. I am not a hard core rock crawler any more. Been there, done that. I have removed the back seat and have an operable platform that I strap down my ARB refrigerator to. Jeff

$32,000.00 for the camper? Really? Wow, my FWC eagle is quite the deal then! Jeff

Water tank capacity on your trailer.

33 gallons I have 27 gallons below the trailer with a six gallon water heater. My only mistake is mounting it forward of the axel instead of directly over the axel. I am a little too heavy on the tongue now. Jeff

Taco brakes, trailer brakes and FZJ80 questions...

My .02 I have a 2010 4X4 LB DC and a 2003 V8 4Runner. I have replaced the front rotors with vented and drilled rotors with ceramic pads and S/S lines. It made a huge difference in the truck, but that was due to the fact that the stocks brakes really really suck? But, with all the mods that are...

    F.S. My Eagle FWC

Well...two buyers have backed out after liking the camper and saying they wanted to buy it, so it is a bump back to the top. Jeff

Taco brakes, trailer brakes and FZJ80 questions...

I feel your pain. My 2010 Tacoma brakes sucked when I had my FWC loaded. I did drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads with S/S brake lines and it made a big difference. Big, not huge, but I was once again confortable driving off road on steep down hills. Then I built my trailer...

    F.S. My Eagle FWC

Ok, I had a lot of really nice people ask some very good questions and ask for more pictures but no real offers. I think I may have freaked everyone out starting at $14,000. Let's see what happens when the price drops to $13,000. I really want this to go to a good home, so I don't want to put it...

You are correct, the tie downs are internal and go to the bed. There insulated access panels on the inside. As far as the suspension goes,I am a big fan of air bags because I use my truck with the camper on and off. I noticed a big difference when I removed the Bilstein shocks and changed to IVD...

    F.S. My Eagle FWC

Thank you all for the very nice compliments. The only real reason for selling the camper and building the trailer is to try and make the wife more comfortable. When we went up to Funnel Lake with Dave and Jody and their friends, she had the time of her life. She has bad disks in her neck, so...

    Jeff's Cargo Conversion

I think the trailer was sitting a little skewed when the photo was taken. The fenders stick out about 5" a side wider than the truck. My statement was meant to show that the body of the trailer is inside the slip stream of the truck. The 5" a side works because I can see the trailer in the side...

She has been sold! Well, it is with much sadness that I have decided to sell my FWC Eagle. I purchased the camper in 2008 used. It is a 2006 Eagle. So far I have done the following: Added a 125 watt BP Solar panel with a Blue Sky MPPT Controller and remote controller. Added two 80 Amp hour...

Another "green" gadget- "BioLite" looks interesting!!

So I am jazzed about my pending arrival of my stove, so I go on youboob to watch the videos from the people who have already received theirs and are checking them out for the first time. The first video I watch, the guy is complaining that it smoked too much when he put green sticks in the stove...

Now I am pissed. I feel like the little kid that hasn't got his birthday cake at the party yet because he stayed outside and played too long. Oh well, mine will probably be better than yours anyways! (JK) Play with it and lets us know. Jeff
