I have a wrench that I plasti-dipped for using just on battery cables. It keeps in insulated so arcing doesn't happen if I accidentally hit metal with it while doing terminals. Cheap to do works well and a lot better than sparks flying everywhere.

Only 20k, amateur :D My Rover disease started with a $1500 RRC, followed by thousands in parts, followed by another RRC, and thousands in parts, followed by a 110 5 door wagon, and the bill is still running on that one.... Welcome to the disease called Land Rover :D

Judging by the sticker on the sliders they are rasta 4x4, perhaps they did a redesign from what you remember.

Justin at Lucky8 has always gotten me my parts within 72 hours, I'm beginning to think he has some of those Amazon drones. His prices are great to, along with the customer service. By the way R-overland, in that link to british 4x4 center you might want to let them know they forgot to renew...

axles and suspension set up are two big differences

How are they the same? Be specific. D2's have their place but let's be honest they are not Iconic in any way like the Series, RRC or Defender

That thing is way over priced in my humble opinion. You can get a NAS Defender 90 for that money. Or import one that hasn't had a vin swap cheaper. Heck my solid 110 5 door was much much cheaper than that and it's legal.
