That's an interesting little plate surrounding your interior HVAC vent. Looks like it has a little mount on it for something also? It caught my attention because in my 1st gen Tacoma I'm brainstorming where to mount my phone and GMRS radio mic and whatnot.

What I like about your build is that it's basically an OEM+ SAS using the 80-series as a base. Often when I see someone doing a SAS it's immediately to tons with major modification . This is exactly the type of SAS build I'd be interested in doing one day. Thank you for your effort sharing!

Honestly, thank you for the reminder. I need to add some JB Weld and steel-stick type stuff to my kit. I've had friends temp goob up their oil pans or trans pans with it to limp out as well.

I have a Roofnest Sparrow. I like it, but it's not the easiest to collapse/close. I've made some custom modifications that make it easier, but my wife still has trouble. Wedge style ones or iKamper style ones are all functionally straight forward.

Tires - honestly based on my research prior to purchase, the Duratracs are pretty light for being a hybrid Mud/AT tire. It could be tricky finding something lighter for the style. Maybe moving to an A/T.

I'm learning about SAS as it's something I'm interested in doing one day. This is the first time I've seen a front spring bucket/bracket that is bolt on, is that normal? I like the modularity; typically I see hoops or a box that is fully welded on.
