I've never used the oil monitor. Oil gets changed around 4k never past 5k and use a fuel additive in the hopes of preventing a CP4 failure. Also use Forscan.

To pintle or not to pintle?

Pintle is easier to use but needs more hitch weight to keep it from rattling. I have a 1000lb trailer for my dirt bike with a 2" ball that rattles horribly because there isn't enough hitch weight. Even the ball mounts shakes in the receiver. rnArmy's trailer has the axle further back plus a...

how to design a water system that is operational below freezing

Water (PEX) lines/filter/pumps/heaters will not drain. The water has to be removed. People either use RV antifreeze or blow the system out with air. Air is the fastest for start up/shut down in freezing temperatures. Traps for the sink/shower need antifreeze/windshield fluid or can be drained...

Probably the best steps I have ever seen

There's a mechanism at the back of the stairs that might cause the stairs to extend/retract when the platform is moved.

Probably the best steps I have ever seen

Looks like steps extend on linear slides......rails for liner slides need grease = dirt build up = seals failing = ball bearings falling out.

Power Needed to Drag a Trailer Through the Backcountry

Looking at the trailers you're considering it looks like the carrying capacity is 800lb-1000lbs. Water at 8.3lbs/gal Off road you pack more stuff so it doesn't take much to surpass the carrying capacity of these built (kitchen/washroom) out trailers. Full waste tanks can take up 1/3-1/2 of...

LP quick disconnect for Propex H2211

These are what I use. It requires the valve to be closed to connect/disconnect. https://mbsturgis.com/products/model3-375-3-8-natural-gas-quick-connect/ A propane tank is high (300psi) pressure and the Propex is low (0.5psi) pressure so a 2 stage regulator is needed. NEVER put a QD inside...

New kid on the block! AWD Transit with composite camper AEONrv

I suggest looking at examples of marine/boat wiring for examples of optimized wiring. Bluesea 360 is very expensive. I'd take a look at https://www.bluesea.com/products/category/26/21/ACDC_Panels/Traditional_Metal_Panels A custom panel can be made with breakers and switches from...

Why are most aftermarket wheels so BroDozer?

Ebay is where I picked my take offs from with "make an offer". Ebay shows the shipping and taxes are so it was easy to compare with local prices.

Dumping that Progressive panel and going all Bluesea will allow everthing to be incorporated. Much more professional than mix & match devices with wiring crossing back and forth. .....and try a RV style knife gate valve for the grey tank drain.

That back of the exposed transfer switch is an accident wating to happen so is 110V wiring in a compartment that's not protected. It's a good idea to use different color wire for AC and DC cabling.
