    Looking for some Flippac input!

Q1 - yes I love mine and use it a lot! Q2 - no difference that would make me "wait" for an AT version. All the main issues are listed above, but I have over 40 nights in mine this year. I will say, I have a SLO fly and it still leaks when faced with heavy rain (liek several trips this year)...

Part time living in a camper?

1leglance has the best idea. I lived in my RTT on a trailer for few months when I took a new job. That got old. The van idea is very stealth, leave the bed made, easy to keep dress cloths nice. Your day, get out of bed, walk to drivers seat, drive to gym work out and shower work - stay late to...

    Flippac Maintenance

Congrats on the Flippac. 1. The bar - yes it rattles and is loose. I was told to drill a small hole in each end to let water drain.... I have not let, afraid I would get too deep, nick the torsion bar and weaken it 2. Zippers. I bought a zipper wax I found at a camping store, can't remember the...

A lesson learned....Stay away from Platinum Motorsports in KY

Semi related x2 - I had a transmission rebuilt and the lifetime warranty required annual flushes at the installer.... one year I watched them drain, then lower the car and hand me the keys - I said you didn't refill, they argued, I refused to hand them the keys back to start it.... finally the...

A lesson learned....Stay away from Platinum Motorsports in KY

I agree, the business owner didn't know about the issue (he claims, and his work is backed by others on the forum) and has offered to make it right. I think that is what you should do! Again, I have no dog in the fight, and have never heard of anyone involved.

    Panasonic Lumix GX1 questions?

I am looking at a Panasonic Lumix GX1 micro four thirds camera, I am wondering if anyone had used one and compared to say a Nikon D7000. Will I be disappointed with images compared to the dSLR? Chazz? Since I can not PM you, I hope you respond!

Has anyone tried to use 1 or 2 panels for the larger awnings on a 1250? Any reason that would not work?
