    My 04 Trailblazer

My S10 Blazer had some issues. So went and purchased an 04 Trailblazer. Already has a 3 in leveling kit and 265/70/17s on it. Has the 5.3 v8 , the G80 limited slip and the engine skidplate and seating for 7. Also has a sunroof. I'm excited to see where this build takes me. I added my roof rack...

Haven't done much the past week other than grabbing the necessary basic items for the rig. Shovel, ax, recovery straps and shackles and some tools. Also a couple ammo cans to organize everything. Ordered a set of Skyjacker Hydro 7000 shocks and a NATO 5 gallon fuel can w mount. Should have both...

My 96 S10 Blazer Backcountry rig

So after a 2ish year hiatus I'm back. I just picked up a 96 S10 2 door blazer LS. Has the 3 in lift on it. Came a front brushguard and rear swing out tire carrier. Everything works on it. I added set of 5 30x9.50x15 General Grabber ATX tires and a roofrack. Also picked up a 20 in led lightbar...

My 92 Dakota back country rig build

Upon realizing the truck runs a little warmer than I'd like, I put some 1.5 inch hood spacers to help rid of some heat. We've had a couple 90 plus days here and it runs a little cooler. Had to make a couple adjustments to the hood latch, but all is good now.

I also removed the mechanical clutch fan and added a 16 inch electric one. I gained a little more horsepower and a little better fuel economy.

My 92 Dakota back country rig build

So I realized I needed a little bigger tires to gain some ground clearance. I picked up a set of 4 KM2S in a 32x11.50x15 w a KM as a spare. Got them installed this past weekend and took a run out by my residence. They handle pretty good. Also took a 60 mile round trip on the hardball and were...

Anyone out there running an Aluminum Contractor Topper?

Here's mine mounted on my 92 Dakota. I built a good sturdy sleeping platform and also have overhead storage for lighter items. It's an ARE High rise contractors cap. Love the extra room it provides.

My 92 Dakota back country rig build

Went out on a 30 mile trip this past Sunday. Had a good time. Everything held up except my lower radiator hose. Was in 4 low in a spot called Moon Rock. The front end flexed a little too much and put my fan through the hose. Luckily I had a spare. Anyway here are a few pics. And i did clean up...

My 92 Dakota back country rig build

I got the carrier finished up today. I added a mount for a utility light. I have one of my old Hella 500s on there for the moment. Will be picking up an led 3x3 cube light this Friday along with a 42 in led bar. That's going on the roof of the cab.
