Ideal amount of lift/ground clearance for an expedition vehicle...

I agree with all the input so far... it's really up to you and how convenient it is to get to your roof rack or get into the vehicle rear and side doors for loading or removing gear. I also say you may not be interested in rocky trails like the Rubicon now, but perhaps your opinion may change...

What is the greatest overland vehicle ever sold new in the US?

Last Wednesday my wife and I were on the way to the Washington, DC, Auto Show in my Prius (carbon offset for the Tacoma). She asked if I had to replace my truck what would I want to replace it with? Hmm. I thought about the different trucks I've been in from classics to modern offerings; Land...

    [SOLD] - Silver 2004 5-Speed 3.4L V6 Toyota Tacoma SR5 Xtra Cab 4x4 TRD - Los Angeles

How did I miss this? This is an exceptionally nice looking and thoughtfully built truck that clearly has been meticulously maintained. Reminds me of a similarily well-built Tacoma I know... Composite Propane Tank

Good question! The usual retail locations that dispense propane for individially owned tanks (RVs, BBQ, heating) in our area have not had an issue. The place I was surprised to learn that would not is AirGas, an industrial gas supplier, as it is against their corporate policy

    Composite Propane Tank

I have a Lite Cylinder, similar to what you've shown, but made in the US. I don't know of any limitations to their use than the normal DOT certifications you can expect with steel cylinders. I've had it for 2 years and very pleased with it, as are others who've come in contact with it.

    Overland Expo 2013

Seriously. There were only 2 and they are numbered with his name stenciled on the inside. You know, turn it inside out, wash the other pair, dry on the roof rack, use as an awning.
