Question for rooftop tent owners regarding logistics.

I leave my RTT permanently on the Land Rover. You can get these security nuts if you are worried about theft of the RTT: http://cascadiatents.com/Security-Nuts.htm?m=83&s=655

    WTB: RTT (bay area)

I have this RTT with annex. Pretty good deal for a brand new unit and the company is located in San Diego. Similar to the Cascadia and Tepui tents. http://truckandwinch.com/tuff-stuff-roof-top-tent-with-lower-annex-room-black-driving-cover.html

Lantern or Rope light AKA How do I illuminate the canopy?

I bought a couple of these to attach to the bottom of the RTT to light up the awning area. Surprising small (5.5" x 1"), but lots of light. Micro-USB charging. Can be removed from the mount and be hand carried. Motion-sensing in the dark to save battery power. And less than US$15. However...

Looking for feedback on CVT Black Butte (Ground Tent)

I have my Tepui version at the NW Overland Rally. Word of caution, we bought our Disc-O-Bed after purchasing the Tepui tent. The Disco-O-Bed is too long to fit into the Tepui tent. We are considering going to the larger RV-3, RV-4 or RV-5 versions made by Oz Tent.

    Patent for Simple Shower

Geodoc, It was great to meet you at the NW Overland Rally. My three boys enjoyed your Kids Survival class. And it was great to sit with you and your wife at one of the campfires. We are looking to make extensive use of our Simple Shower! Cheers, Andrew

    disc-o-bed

I have the adult L version (there is also an XL version). Be careful to check the lngth of the bunk for fitting inside your tent. I recollect my disc-O-bed is almost 2 meters long. It would not fit laterally or longitudinally into the Tepui 26-second tent unless I place it diagonally across the...

Another Way to Lift Up RTT for Mounting onto Roof Rack

I came across this product on Amazon. Since I have another SUV, this would be an option to hitch mount the lifting device to remove the RTT off my Land Rover. The plan is to weld a longer top bar extend the lifting hook further out. Height of the lifting pole is 137 cm = 53" to 11'. This is not...
