Hey Bob....one of them was the spare tire. I bought the other one off of Amazon. They are going on an off road trailer I bought...but for ****s and giggles I put them on the Jeep today and the longer they are on there the more I like them...

The 255/75/17 DT is a P rated tire.....which is why there is a significant weight difference.
I currently have the 265/70/17C DT on my WK and it weighed in at 47 pounds.....
So going from a 2ply to a 3ply I am happy with the weight on the ST Maxx.

Just got 2 of the ST Maxx 255/75/17C to put on my trailer....will eventually put these on my Jeep when the DTs wear down...even as a C load they are heavy.
Weight wise...
You can also get the Cooper ST Maxx in 255/75/17 load range c....maybe another option for you as well. A little more money but a better offroad tire than the AT3 and yet is still civil on road. They are my next tire once I wear down my Duratracs a little more. Duratracs have been awesome...
