No CCW yet but yes, I would still have to wait 10 days. With each purchase, they want time to do a background check. No matter how many guns you own.
Thanks!
Just needed someplace to "brag" about buying my first gun in over 20 years, that's all, nothing more. :wings: On the advice of my LEO friends about which gun to buy for CCW purposes, the Glock 26 was recommended to me. After much searching - and finding it a pretty difficult gun to source at a...
Great video! Thank you for sharing your adventure with us.
Not sure why the hate? I saw nothing that would justify the rant about One Life, Live It, rich people, lame villagers. Awesome that you are living a life where you can afford to do something like this. I wish you continued blessings...
Dude I thought that was awesome! I love it when a retailer/company has a sense of humor.
Unfortunately, like Hilldweller, I am shaped differently than most men my age (47). Being 6'-1" and 250 lbs from hitting the iron, I cannot order shirts - or even buy off the rack - shirts without trying...
I agree 100% with Adam and yes to your question about replacing the tie rods with RT. I used OME, RT and RoverTracks (I think Keith renamed his shop something else now) on my D1 and RRC (94). Those things were indestructible and unstoppable.
The Discovery has great reliability as long as you learn what spare parts and tools to carry. Air suspension - super easy to convert to coil. Just be sure to pick one up where the engine has never been overheated. The aluminum blocks don't take overheating that well.
I believe the 6.7L was put in beginning with the 2007 model year trucks. These RAM 2500's sure hold their value!
Perhaps your 2014 RAM had the newer tranny in it?
I guess I've seen too many RAM trannies (hehehehe) go kaput from towing but never an Allison. Not a fan of Chevy or Ford diesels, hence the RAM diesel.
Watching this thread with great interest! I'm a Land Rover guy through and through and was super close to pulling the trigger on an LR4 but now that I am doing flips in addition to my regular Realtor® work, I need a truck. But it has to pull double duty. It has to seat 2 adults and 4 kids on...
The LS is very good on mpg too. I know our Vette is much lighter than a 110 or D1 but every time we take a trip in it, I am simply amazed at the mileage we get out of a tank of gas. And I don't baby the pedal either. I drive it like the sports car it is.
Have you considered a RRC? My 94 LWB had a lot of room in it and the 4.2 had a ton of power. You could drop the 4.6 into it for even more power.
If you are set on a Disco, I'd go for DI over a DII if you're building something for mainly off road/trail. And throw in the 4.6. :smiley_drive...
LOL! Unfortunately, I think your Ayer is not wide enough for me and my fiancee.
If this isn't sold in 2 weeks, hmu. I just put another house in escrow.
True, I forgot about those!
I've often had to carry something longer than the rack (kayak) or needed something to hang over a bit on one side. If you added an RTT, then you would have to either have to mount the RTT above the side rail height or cut off one part to open the RTT.
