Yeah, ask us owners here. Feel free to PM or email me any time. Happy to share with you my experience. Welcome to the FP tribe.
Also, this thread might do better in the Pop Up Campers section. Maybe a mod will move it...

I got a Google alert this morning for this website: http://www.racingfiberglass.com/FlipPac.htm. The Hisperia, CA company appears to be selling FlipPacs. Hisperia is not far from Riverside, where FRP makes FlipPacs.
So, I decided I'd give them a call... Turns out they used to sell FPs. They...
I bought this parts car for the 5-spd trans to swap into my automatic. Lots of good parts, including engine that would make a good power plant for a Samurai. There are even kits to swap the TDI engine into a YJ or TJ.
Car had 70k on it. Had major electrical issues. Electrical problems (created...
Hi guys:

Back to the tent discussion: I think the most important design selection will be in the fabric itself. I am not sure what you plan to use, Martyn, but I am sure you've done your homework. The fabric must be light, waterproof, and stable. By stable I mean that the FP tent fabric stretches and...

I am a member of The Clymb. It is a good site. Caveat Emptor, of course; I have found the same products at overstock.com for less.
They do offer a credit for people who sign up other members. I joined without being invited. So, while I have posted one item here that I thought would be of...
Well, no need to keep it a secret. We are going to sandwich the damaged corner, putting plates on the lid that will bolt to the torsion bar arm. I'll get more pictures soon...

We have a plan and much of the work is done. Just have not budgeted time to complete the job. Will update when we do. Hint: we are not re-glassing anything...

This table has always interested me. I have seen a few used ones here. $70 seems like a good price for a new one.
No affiliation. Just trying to pass on (what I think is) a good deal.

They also have Nikwax products on sale...
Hi guys:
I am something of a dreamer. If something is good, I like to pass time thinking of ways to make it better. If something is bad or goes bad, I have to fix it. I hate paying somebody else to fix my stuff. Sometimes I have to pay...but that's a route of last resort. But I spend a lot of...
I got the scope in between the inner and outer skins. Looks to my like the core is some kind of epoxy impregnated cardboard honeycomb. It appeared to have broken down considerably.
