    The Georgia Bantam build

Hey Scram, Thanks for the comments. The tongue is 53" from the tub to the receiver end. The LR Hitch trailer side is a model 520 and the vehicle side is a 501. LR trailer hitches do have a little rattle inside the receiver. I used the eye bolts to stabilize the hitch and corral the safety...

    The Georgia Bantam build

I grew up with "If you build it, they will come." Now, it's "if you order it, now you have to build it." Making parts fit, it's what we do! BTW: The tent is here, and the top is ready tomorrow...

Great ideas all. We are about to head out on our "RTT Shakedown" run. It's our first time in the RTT so we'll have a head start on the mods before we ever get out there.

Here it is. I took the roof skeleton to the sheet metal shop yesterday. It should be ready for pickup on Wednesday of next week. The Tepui Kukenam tent will be here on Tuesday according to FedEx Tracking. I still have to mount the tongue box, set the roof, build the roof rack, and set the...

    Axle issue

I need some help if y'all don't mind. I have an axle that I need to order, but I've been told it is not possible by the dealer. (trailerpartsdepot) They say the length is too short and the hubs won't fit the axle. The dimensions are as follows: Hub face to Hub face = 52" Brake flange = Yes...

    The Georgia Bantam build

You know I will. I decided to get mobile prior to skinning the top so the fab shop could see the whole picture, not just the lid its self. I'll fit the axle and the max coupler next, then the lid.
