My New (AEV) American Expedition Vehicles Jeep!!

That is a very nice pair of Jeeps you have. Interesting on the Green one's interior, I've never seen the saddle tan interior (dash) with cloth seats. All saddle tan interiors I've seen are with leather seats.

Can it be done with a lifted truck?

A friend has an identical truck (with 6" lift and 35s ) with a Lance 915 on it. He runs airbags as well. I'd highly recommend airbags too.

    Extension cords and generators

I'd highly recommend a Honda EU2000i www.wisesales.com has really good prices on them, but you have to call to get the price, they don't post the prices on line. http://www.wisesales.com/generators-1/honda-generators.html I bought one from them to compliment my original EU2000 bought 10 years...

5x8 Wells Cargo V Nose back country camper conversion

It would make a nice addition to my other Wells Cargo, and this one would be perfect behind a JK-U that I don't yet have. Still thinking about it.

5x8 Wells Cargo V Nose back country camper conversion

Looks intriguing....... I'm going to give it some thought. I've owned two Wells Cargo trailers and love them. I think something like this might serve my needs better than an AT style trailer, I hate tents! Do you know what the height of the trailer is to the top of the roof vent? my first...

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Took it to the dealer and had them fix my inoperative fuel gauge. Not knowing my exact fuel level got to be a bit of a nuisance on my recent trip to Salt Lake City from Washington and back. Problem they found was a connector in the wire harness was loose, and some dirt or crud got in it and...

Anyone drive the new Wrangler yet?

YES, I drove one while in SLC, Utah last week. I like the way the transmission can be operated in "manual mode", much like the Allison trans in my Silverado Duramax/Allison combo can be operated.

LJ + Livin Lite 11' Trailer

Neat looking trailer, but I can see part of why it was a chore to haul, it's REALLY tall.

I test drove one Friday - I was pretty impressed with it. The 5 speed auto is nice too.

Do you want a diesel Jeep? Goto http://JeepDieselPetition.com and sign the petition!

Highly doubtful a vehicle platform that is now in it's 6th year of production, and second engine, will ever see a diesel. Heck, the JK in its current form will probably only be around 3-4 more production years considering previous "wranglers" have had production runs of about 10 years. (YJ: 88...

    Headlamps anyone?

I had one of these, until the clip that holds the battery door closed broke off, then it became useless.

    Goal Zero Ranger 350 Kit

Depends on the power consumption of those devices, as to whether they will run or not. The Ranger / Extreme UI (Universal Inverter) is only a 400 watt output, so I don't think it will run a coffee maker or rice cooker - appliance that have heating elements in them are power hogs.
