    With the top down it's probably the only FJC with no blind spots!

    Burzon's 2004 4Runner SE (V6) Overland Build

    It's gonna look real good. I love the Aussie look of white wheels on a Toyota truck.

    Burzon's 2004 4Runner SE (V6) Overland Build

    Not sure what the wheeling is like in your area but the guys around here seem to love the new MTR a lot in mud and rocks.

    Burzon's 2004 4Runner SE (V6) Overland Build

    I'm 100% with you. Would I love to have Shrockworks skids? Of course, but with my truck being a DD and going out only 10 to 12 times a year, I have a hard time justifying $1300, waiting 6 months and an extra 100lbs. I will upgrade to thicker skids when time and money permits if I have a need for...

    Mr Rooster-> 4th Gen 4Runner build

    Here's another one from the same day when I killed my alternator by going in deep muddy water.

    Mr Rooster-> 4th Gen 4Runner build

    Video from last weekend. First time editing a movie and stuff... I had to put music on since the roof rack was so clunky and noisy. I'll re-position my GoPro next time for a better view.

    WH(WK) Expo to Iceland with family August 2013

    Love it! Thank you for sharing. Did you, at any point, wish you had a snorkel for some of the water crossings?

    Say Hello to Garth - 1973 Series III

    I've been toying with the idea of getting a Discovery (I or II) or a LR3 as another family vehicle. If I do, I'll call it Wayne. Just in Garth's honor!

    Burzon's 2004 4Runner SE (V6) Overland Build

    I hope I can make it out your way and hit some trails next summer. I have family a few hours north of you. I'd love to have a look at your truck in person. Are you going to run wheel spacers with the steelies?

    Burzon's 2004 4Runner SE (V6) Overland Build

    My issue with Shrockworks and BudBuilt is lead time.They make great products but I'm not one who's willing to wait 6 months + to get something I'm paying for now. The ARB skids are great. They were in stock, cost $500 landed and weight about 40 lbs all together. Can't go wrong with that. They...

    Burzon's 2004 4Runner SE (V6) Overland Build

    You certainly did get a great deal on the whole package. I'm already double that into mine and still don't have a rear tire carrier... :(

    Mr Rooster-> 4th Gen 4Runner build

    Yes, they are Prado/FJ "underbody protection" from ARB. They bolted right up with no issues at all.

    Mr Rooster-> 4th Gen 4Runner build

    Got some skid plates to replace the factory paper thin ones. Also went to Montana for a weekend trip and drove the Going To The Sun road. That was amazing. Probably one of the nicer roads I've been on since the road to Hana in Maui. While we were there we did some camping and went to...

    Very nice! I love the graphics on the truck. It sets it off. How did the truck do at higher elevation?

    Mr Rooster-> 4th Gen 4Runner build

    Thanks Addison. Is Josh building you a custom rack for your LC80? I emailed him about making a few changes on the 4th gen setup he offers. I loved the wheels on your Tundra. Thought I'd give them a shot, not regretting it so far.

    Mr Rooster-> 4th Gen 4Runner build

    Nice garage! Wish I could convince the wife on a 3rd Gen! If there's anything I've learned from both my build and my friend's 3rd gen build is that you should take the time to write up and plan on what you will be doing with the vehicle and buy parts accordingly. I'm on my second wheel and tire...
