Just installed 868s on the 80 and am totally stoked. It handles like a Porsche 911...with a small brick shed tied to the roof. Great on the pavement and doesn't feel at all harsh off road, couldn't be happier :) My 863s are for sale in the classifieds on Mud if anyone is interested.

Has anyone reinforced their hood so that they can walk on it to recover stuff from their roof racks; it would also aid in setting up RTTs. I was thinking 1/8" 6061 T6 about 12" wide at the back of the hood, powdercoated and riveted on. I guess you'd still mess up the hinges and latch... Thoughts?
