OZ... that sounds good. I already have the front end so I can take some measurements as long as the front end doesnt bet any wider than the back by to much .... keeping my same rims for now would defiantly be a cost saver when getting it switched over.

So I started thinking/wondering..... I know when I switch over to 4x4 the front axle has one size of lug pattern "F" series my mini mod has a dually rear end running singles I was planning on keeping it but realized I will have to run adapters so it matches the front... (I don't want to do that)...

2001 Two wheel drive 7.3 mini mod ambulance 13 HWY..... even my 2003 F350 4x4 four door dually 7.3 got no better than 13.... I always kept hearing people say they got 18-20 but I have never seen it from day 1. I'm hoping when I turn the mini mod to 4x4 it will stay the same(hope) being the key...

derjack... I disagree with a part of your statement. Hood scoops "do" work at slow speed, instead of allowing cool air in, at slow speeds or stopped they allow hot air to escape backwards through the vent. A definite benefit when sitting at an idle on a trail or in stop and go traffic.... :)

So.... the ambo had a big HEAVY chrome front bumper on it along with the siren crap and a chrome grill as well that was cut up to fit their lights. Before I got rid of the other van I switched out the bumper for my light weight black one and put on my black grill. I also kept my tinted turn...

I have a 5x8 decked out for camping $4,500.00 obo check out my build thread ... cowboy4x4 off road cargo trailer... Im located in yorba linda CA (orange county)

the sleeping area is either 6'3" or 6'4" the trailer is a tad longer than 8' due to the curve in the front so it worked out rather well.

It is from Home Depot and it is glued on to 1/8" panel with 3M spray glue.

The ford vans can open more than 90* the limiting bar can be lifted off the pin that holds it. (back doors)
