Are you referring to addding a bigger tire in the spare location? If so then yes you need to reverse the bolts holding in the hitch and you will need to cut the inch or so of the hitch off...you will need an angle grinder with a cutting wheel. There is a great write up in this post on Jeep...

Check out my build....and look at what I did to maximize the limited storage in the WK...you need to remove the backseats though.

+1 Dendy....the other month at CFW...Susan and I got the tent setup and then drove back to Dahlonega to a Mexican restaurant.......it was good and hit the spot since it was below freezing outside. Love the show and keep up the good work.
