    Four Peaks Pickup 09

An absolute amazing effort! Thank you Tim for your efforts since I am sure you worked harder than anyone out there organizing this thing in the first place. Thank you to everyone else who cared enough to get hot, stinky, dirty, and bleed all to pick up some one else's trash all while...

NEWBIE NEEDS HELP! FJ Cruiser Vs. 4Runner Trail Edition?

I think Shane summed it up pretty good right there... We have an FJC and love it. If this vehicle is going to be your family 4 seat transport, get the 4runner. If you already have a car, 4dr truck, etc. get the FJ. My only complaint about the FJ is the visibility as many other owners will...

    JemmyJack: New Jack from Rasta4x4

That is a really cool idea. I like how quick it is. It seems if done right, it would be safe and stable. Personally, the most annoying part about changing a tire is raising and lowering the jack.

RSVP... I will need to pass on the word to Offroad Nissans of Arizona. It looks like we will have about 15 trucks showing up.

    SAR Vehicle Must-Haves..

No problem man! That was just what I could come up with off the top of my head while thinking of my needs. I am interested to see how you put this project together. Good luck!

    Wilderness Medical Training

That is very cool Lance! I have been wanting to take a wilderness first aid class for sometime now. I know there are a few offered here in the valley, but I have not gotten around to getting into one. I made it a priority for me to get it done this year however. Sounds like this one was...

    SAR Vehicle Must-Haves..

As a Frontier owner my self, I would say make sure you get skids, rock sliders, and bumpers for your truck. Sliders are going to be important with your LB wheelbase, since my CC SB spends a decent amount of time on the sliders. Get a steel gas tank skid first, then an engine/oil pan skid...

CB Radios - Does size really matter?

Good point, the Firefly is MUCH more flexible than Firestick II. The antennas I have seen snap were all the Firestick II model. Great looking mount theksmith!

CB Radios - Does size really matter?

gary_in_ohio is spot on with the details regarding the dual antennas. You don't need them and I wouldn't mess with it. The Firesticks are great, I have used them before. My only complaint is I have seen a number of people snap them on the trail. They do not flex much at all. Two of the...

    Garage Sale

Dang... I am sure I am too late, but better late than never. If ALL the other Scepter orders fall through, I'd take 1 gas and 1 water, shipped to AZ 85258. :)

CB Radios - Does size really matter?

Agreed... Take a look at the Midland as well. You honestly can't go wrong with Cobra or Midland, they both make quality products that are reliable.

    Nissan Photos - post your's

Nah I won't... That is a little bit of a drive for me since I am in Phoenix AZ. We have done that before with Offroad Nissans of Arizona and it was a ton of fun. Some beer, some pizza, good friends, and a couple offroad vidoes makes for a great time.

CB Radios - Does size really matter?

I'd look into the Cobra 75 WXST all in handset CB radio. I have one in the Frontier and another in the FJ. They work great, save space, and I love them... I have consistently gotten 10 miles of range with them. One day I even got about 12 miles. Remember this when setting your system up: a...

    bigdog Frontier build

Awesome... I really like the looks of the Shrock front bumpers. I agree about the rear bumper. I would love to see what they can come up with.

    HardBody???

Great trucks and they will go forever. I wheel with a number of them out here in AZ, and they just go everywhere! A good number of them are SAS'd.

To MAC or Not To MAC (and other DV questions)

Just to drive the point further, all the graphics artists and video editors I know all use Macs. I have also been using Macs for a number of years now and love them. It will only hurt when you swipe you card but well worth it in the end. Sounds like you will get your money's worth out of the...
