How did you attach the fabric to the reflectix? And is it both sides? I have the same thing and they work great. But I have been thinking of how to make them less obvious/ugly
WA -> CO road trip went well! Lots of mountain passes, one over 11,000 feet!
First night we spent in the middle of nowhere Idaho, camped at a free campground off the highway about 20 miles. Got there when it was dark and woke up to cows mooing and elk bugling.
Second day we got an early start...
I like your rear window replacement! I have been thinking about something similar.
And I just went through this whole thread, amazing work! I really like the way you set up the rear bed/slide etc.
Bump, road tripping from WA to CO in July, anyone got a step bumper between here and there?
Also would be interetsed in aftermarket bumpers, aluminess tire carrier etc.
Outside of the van only has one sticker but the fridge inside I felt was a perfect place for stickers! The one sticker on the outside is the "free candy" van, which is small but gets me funny looks in traffic/drive thrus :ROFLMAO:
Just looked it up, price is $71,963

Got the rear pop out windows in! Went pretty smooth overall and turned out nice, can't wait test them out camping! Used spacers and trimmed my trim as little as possible to keep a factory look. Bracket is just bolted in with the spacer, and nuts/lock washers since I did't have the piece for the...
Located in the PNW, specifically tri cities. Will be headed to Seattle area in a few weeks.
Want to buy a stock rear step bumper, preferably with the holes for backup sensors for a E350
Online they are spendy plus you have to buy plastic so I might as well go aftermarket if I buy a new one.
Any links for mounting solar panels without a roof rack? A roof rack isn't in the budget right now.
I think I would like to rig something up off the spare tire carrier when I get one but any other ideas?
For those interested I was able to order the spacers from my local for dealer. The guy couldn't find the part that goes in the door unfortunately so I guess it will need to figure something out. Since my trim doesn't have the indent like some vans I plan to use the spacer and build a panel for...
So the autowrecking yard didn't grab that plate that goes in the door. Does anyone know of a part number or where to get them? I am having them check again to see if they missed the part or not.
If I have no luck I might make something, could use a picture of what its supposed to look like...
Gotcha, yah they didn’t have any at the local lot but he found them online and is getting them for me for $65 a piece. I think it was a 92 or 93 he said. Would anyone think due to the age of the glass that it would be a problem?
Sorry guys for the late response had a small house fire Sunday so I have been busy!
Thanks for the ideas on the rear screen, I would like to be able to keep my doors shut and still have ventilation so that’s why I like the rear pop outs. I have a connection at local junkyard that can get me...
As we go into summer I have been thinking about how to keep the van cool. I have been thinking a lot and have a few questions.
Right now we just have the mosquito nets for the front windows. so it has been fine but as it gets warmer I think we will need another window that opens in the back...
