BTW: Brushogger- That front tent in the forward drop down, is only velcro'd in (military velcro so super strong) so removing it to use the trailer without it is super easy. You don't "have to remove" it, but it does open up some storage space on the interior without the tent in place.

The main top pop up is easy. Two crank handles 4 or 5 turns and it is up. If you didn't raise it, it would be difficult to stand upright.
The dinette table drops to make a king size bed out of the table and two side benches. The front would not need to be deployed (it is the part that is the...
You should really look hard at that silver one that is for sale in Florida. Serious money spent on that build. You couldn't replicate it for the 17K he is asking.

If you are referring to the silver truck in the classifieds, ... it is a nice truck. You can't build one for what he has dropped the price to.
I have found that you can safe a ton of money if you buy a nicely sorted, built truck.
Regarding roof rack: Don't overload it past the weight capacity...

I know you miss that base camp! I would as well.
See my post above. I guess the point of my rant was that I am open to offers, but please stop with the "half the asking price" attempts. The argument of trailer versus truck will never end, but the plus side in my estimation on this trailer...
The price is based on a recent evaluation of what it would cost "if you could" import one and then taking a very fair depreciation. If this were in South Africa, these are readily available. On their version of Craigslist, you could pick up a 2010 Commander for around $32K US, but that is in...
In case you think the price is high, please research the cost to import one (if it is even possible or without risk).
And just for grins, price a new airstream bambi. That will make your eyeballs pop out! Heck even your standard pressboard pop ups start around $22K.

The badging is just readily available decals. This is just a nicely build early 90.
Had a friend that recently sold a self built "Series 90" to a guy in Oklahoma that is a prepper. Be careful ... don't get yourself shot! :)

Same here. While I love the Sport myself, it doesn't have near the roominess of the big body. I think part of it is the center console is at elbow height so some of it may be psychosomatic. :)
But my wife much prefers the big body.

2009 forward are dialed in. You will have little issues. 2009(last of that body style- front lights) and 2010 (first of the slimmer lights) can be had a decent price.
