Lordtrunks, someday you will have to tell us how u came by that user name.... im interested in the t case you mentioned. its do-able if the ruby sells, and its bolt in. Since lazy seem to be my only operational mode that bolt in notion appeals to me. the 2.85 gearing is an added benefit. where...

custom did you say!!?? well here is custom for you , if i keep the v6 in there which is tempting. how about a remote turbo, edis 6 ignition and run the mess off of MS v.2 ?! As it is, there are scarcely parts immediately available for the mitsu in original form, for my year. Ihave to carry...

the idea of forcefully modifying the underside of montee gives me pause. clocking is likely out, due to front driveline angles, and body lifts are going in the opposite direction than is good for me, so the ruby in my gen 1 is on hold. and that is assuming I can fine an appropriate input shaft...

who wants to be the first to try ORI struts?

they are cool for daily work. way over engineered and durable, but lact certs. it's 1900 pounds , each corner. or for each strut. the tricky part is fitting them into the cramped spaces. would be nice , in this case to drive toyatas. the other keen detail is the plate attachment to the LCA on...

    rubicon jeep 241OR transfer case

as stated. it's a 2003 model, automatic version for the w580 NAG 1 series transmission. fresh rebuild, fewer than 47k on internals b4 owner exploded the case. it has new front case, some new bearings and seals, new pads, core exchange. will not fit the manual transmission jeeps. located in...

who wants to be the first to try ORI struts?

I should have included a link here it is. it appears to be the future of suspension mods https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://oristruts.com/phone/index.html&ved=2ahUKEwj93tn56f3kAhXcHzQIHU_9CRUQFjAAegQIARAB&usg=AOvVaw3_zyWmvQi0I8f3QNsAiEiY

    Suspension bushings

on the gen 1 the only bushings that need changing will be ur trailing arm bushings at the body. most likely u will not need to change any other bushings. I did change bushings, front totally and rears just at the body. I am so happy with my decision...that I'm going to rip them out this winter...

who wants to be the first to try ORI struts?

is a brilliant concept and looks like a ton o fun. I'd have towers clear up to the hood, and sticking through the cargo deck floor, if I did this, as I would want the 14" strut

Hyundai 5.29??? 2.85 gears for the gen one case? the gen 1 has a fatal flaw- no neutral gear space, but do have a pto cover or appears to be a pto cover.

    jeep rubicon 241OR, transfer case

...to see if there is a need for this case out there. it is an automatic 2003 model. freshly rebuilt with 47k miles on internals. it has a new front case, and new internals where needed. case is tight and fresh case is in Oregon. price is market which is not cheap, and I will need ur broken case...

concerning the cable shift. looking casually at the linkage, i have wondered if i can use the auto linkage to shift the t case and a winters cable shifter to shift the transmission, if for no other reason, than to use what is there and add a better trans linkage than my worn out mitsu shifter.

we are in the price range of an atlas or stax t case now, which , if smaller overall, is an ideal upgrade. I can't see any real drawback, does anyone have a perspective that can see a disadvantage to a stax? also, gears are everything if I'm low on power. so if I'm low on power ....turbo...

Thx for the body mod tip. I wondered about that. how much does it not fit? like 2 inches? is it a cut and patch thing? or ********** it with a hammer thing? can I adjust the operating angle, i.e. drop the trans a bit? and corresponding pinion angle, or cv joint driveline?
