I chose the 35" tires over the 40" units due to no modifications required. The 35 inch tires dont rub anywhere. The larger tires require a lift and maybe some fender trimming. I plan on putting the larger tires on this truck.
I had the 40 inch tires on a Ram 5500 with 4.10 gearing. I found the...
Here is what a Buckstop kit looks like. Truck drove well with the kit installed. My truck had the 4.10 rear end and put the engine RPM in an ideal speed at 65 MPH.
I have a Buckstop kit that I used for about a year. Installed it on my 2016 RAM 5500. I now have a Ford so no longer need. Have the bumper and carbon fiber front fender flares as well.
Sold my '16 5500 RAM diesel and bought a new 19 F550 gas. The mileage I got from my Ram was around 11 MPG. Gas Ford is getting 9. These are flatland MPG figures.
Ford and Ram share the same axels front and back. Rear is leaf on both. Ram has four link front with coils-Ford has one link with...
I dont have pictures of the sliders. However, the drawers are mounted with typical drawer extension slides. They dont have locks on them as the Southco latches perform the locking part. I know aluminum is not the most popular. This material has attributes that composites dont-they dont stain...
Steel mounts bolt through mounting rail with fine threaded bolts. To prevent electrolysis, there is a coating of epoxy in the spot where the plates attach. There is a plastic gasket between them as well.
Cabinets are in and wired. Decided to go with a fabric wall covering to balance the utilitarian look. Used Kapatech panels for the backers. The panels are 3/8" thick foam with a thin layer of aluminum both sides. I have glued 1/8" foam to the panels than added material. Easy and super...
I can make overhead cabinets from a simple hand sketch-send me what you have.
The look is more utilitarian without looking home made. I am working on a neat baltic birch plywood inner lever-arm that when coupled with a 1/4" bungee provides a light and simple way to hold overhead doors open.
I...
Heads up on the wheels. If they were mounted without dry fitting and sanding some of the paint in the pilot section of wheel, you may not be able to get them off in the field. I had a Staz set and a Backstop set (like yours) installed on my Chevy (Staz) and Ram 5500. Both were extremely tough to...
