Quick update, since this thread has been resurrected. I went with the Sensatyre system, which looks like it's a relabeled Mobiletron system. Works fine, it's internal so I don't need to worry about external sensors getting mangled. 10 tire system was around $1200.

So it was just all the bolts shearing off? At least the bracket looks like it's still in good condition. Here's to hoping you have a trip remainder that has no more drama.

We'll be heading out Thursday morning either on the 40 or the 10, wave as you pass us. We'll be in the slow lane, lol. Will also be accompanied by a built Landcruiser wagon, maybe some others. Might be a nice little convoy.

We'll be there, but camping in the general area, not in the fairgrounds. We'll drive in daily. Probably arriving Thursday.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with this. I'd like to see how you work out a dash pod. I don't know if you can source one, but an old Japanese Landcruiser fire service truck had a nice dash pod that fits well. I've got one here that I've been meaning to install, might actually do it...

I'm running BD for the light bars, but Rigid for the floods. Both work well.

Just remember that anytime you upgrade power, you have to consider the effect on other systems. So my recommendation is still quad turbo, propane/water/alcohol injection, and finally chucking the whole thing and installing a Cummins and completely reworked driveline. Fun comments aside (hi...

ROFL, clearance, what's that? I'd be overjoyed if I had 100mm clearance, but mine's more like 40-50, at best.

I think I'd just add the filler neck to the original side, might be fewer issues. You might also look at the builders guide and see if there's anything in there. Are you using the 1 gallon jugs, or the box wine style?
