Yep, same. I use a light spray lube (WD-40) instead of grease on the studs, but also torque to the low end. Also have the torque wrench, and a torque multiplier to help get them off if I don't want to use, or break out the impact.

necropost time! Has anyone else not gotten the cold weather recall notice? I'm in California, and for some reason (I'm not getting answers from FUSO NA, so far), it seems my truck isn't "qualifying" for the recall. Is there anyone else in California that's gotten a cold kit recall on their truck?

Theoretically...yes, it does. On lesser slopes, it works fine, it's those steep suckers that make it fail the test.

It spins to throw off the oil into the system and apparently the software parameters give very little room for pressure variances. I'd think that if it was frozen up...
