Do you have any .gpx files or anything for the route? Would love to do this with my brother. I commented on your youtube video earlier, but PM me on here if you see it.
ETA: Think this trail is doable in a full size rig (F-150 Super crew, lifted with 33" tires)?
And they were dead because they were Fords, right? You know their maintenance history, miles, and how well they had been taken care of by all of their owners I'm sure, right?
I've seen equal amounts of different makes and models of trucks on the side of the road. If you beat one to **** and...
I know I'm not the OP but I have had that same jack for 3 years now and have used it a lot. For the ~$65 I spent on it, it has been an amazing buy. Don't have much experience with nicer jacks but this one has never let me down. The wheels are starting to rust on mine, because my boss borrowed it...
If you live in a college town you could find someone easy. Some college aged kid getting paid to go on a three week adventure and help out with kids? Yeah, no problem at all finding one.
Looks awesome! Is that Island Lake, on your way to Titcomb Basin? Looks familiar for some reason, but it has been a couple years since I've been there:
Enjoying the thread though!
Is that the Warn hidden winch kit? Or do you have a short drum winch and used something else to mount it? I have an 05 Lariat and want to do the same, but already have a winch. Seems you need a body lift or the Warn kit if you want to fit a winch there.
How did you fit that winch in there? Do you have a body lift or is that the Warn hidden winch kit? Trying to do the same thing, but don't really care to spend the money on the Warn Kit, since I already have a winch. (I have on 05 Lariat)
Looks great so far! I'm building a teardrop as well and did the "poor mans fiberglass" and am impressed with the results. I wish I would have spent more time making all of my cuts clean and uniform, but that is about it. FYI, it took almost two gallons of primer to fill the weave of the...
Well I drew up the rack, but the truck, bike, and jerry cans were just imported from the 3D warehouse.
It definitely is nice being able to see what you are going for before you start cutting. It has also helped me catch some of my design flaws before I'm halfway through a project and have to...
This is a picture of my '05 F150 Lariat with my camper I'm building
Currently has 2.5" leveling kit, 275/70/r18 BFG T/A KOs, and I've taken off the side steps. Also has dual exhaust, not sure what it is though as it came on it when I bought it. Going to be making a hidden winch mount for...
This is my biggest issue with them. Never understood why they do it. I'll stick with Fords.
Cool to have a mid size diesel though. Hopefully more companies follow suit.
