Marathon SuperHides! I had them on my old buckets for 3 years and they still look great. If they get dirty - throw them in the wash. I liked them enough that when I replaced my seats with PROCAR Elite's I had them make me up another set. Custom pockets and a great fit.
Nice looking truck. I think the cable tie back would be a problem; just looking for something to snag it. When going over obstacles while executing a multipoint turn and reversing is where I had the most problems with my flaps. A flexible material that is not too long might fit the bill.
Damned internet! Foiled by my own words!
Corrected it for you... It's the TEQ flaps - irresistible - the rest of your truck looks like hell. ;)
Seriously, the style - red PU flaps are too blingy to me for a truck that goes off road. I'm not against flaps - I kind of wish I had flaps for...
Absolutely. It's for safety's sake. Not having one is completely irresponsible - think of the children/kittens/puppies/baby seals. How can a significant-other argue with that logic?
It's all personal preference isn't it? My line of sight includes the windshield, so anything there, to me, is distracting and I find those items block my view when on the trail plotting my way around obstacles. I find when driving and scanning the road ahead that there's a level of convenience...
But do you really want to clutter your dash?
Hence why I offered the alternative mounting solution; the cut piece is easily replaced with an OEM fascia, and why I purchased a replacement before cutting. I just didn't know how to say it nicely... :o
See above... I just started the truck to take pictures for Martin. I can confirm it appears to work for me and others who have similar LC 80's, 4Runners, and Tacoma's I've observed from other forums.
"IA" is intake temp at the MAF. It's flippin' cold out! It does not work for 2nd Gen Tacoma's.
