Ford Transit Quigley vs Sprinter 4x4?

Not sure where the 7300 is coming from. Here is where I found all of the numbers for towing and the highest number I see under eco boost is 7100. https://www.ford.com/resources/ford/general/pdf/towingguides/16RV&TT_Ford_Transit_Sep28.pdf

Pics of your VAN! Post up!

Love this van, I'm starting to think that 75% of the people (including myself) could run a 4" Weldtec kit and be just fine.

Ford Transit Quigley vs Sprinter 4x4?

Sixstringsteve - I think your gonna have a hard time letting go of your E350 when you realize how much it can tow compared to newer vans, at 6500lbs your choices become very limited.

    MG Metalworks Van Build

If I had a dollar for every time someone gave me some form of "sick van" look, wave, thumbs up or actually said it since owning this van, I'd have at least 50$. My wife hates it, she can't admit I was right in thinking my van is the coolest thing ever.

MG Metalworks Radius Arm/Coil Spring Axle Conversion for E-series Vans

Just figured something else out that everyone may be interested in knowing with this kit. With this kit, rear 4" springs and 33s my van is less than 8' and will still fit in parking garages. :wings:

MG Metalworks Radius Arm/Coil Spring Axle Conversion for E-series Vans

Mwilliamshs - just to help clarify, this kit is stupid simple. 5 brackets and they all have their defined place that you would have an extremely hard time screwing up. Once in place, drill the holes (very easy with a cheap right angle drill, sharp bit and cutting fluid) and then put the bolt...

MG Metalworks Radius Arm/Coil Spring Axle Conversion for E-series Vans

I have Ujoints 4" springs and I have a good amount of room with 33s. I'm sure 35s would clear fine for light duty van stuff but not sure how far they would stuff into the wheel well. Maybe we will throw MGs 35s on my van some time and see what happens. I'm sure 34s would fit no problems.

    Bed liner on roof

There was a black van for sale in Illinois that the owner had the roof painted white and it actually was not noticeable initially. Thanks to the lip around the top it didn't stand out much and he said it kept the van cooler, obviously not a ton cooler but anything is better than nothing.

MG Metalworks Radius Arm/Coil Spring Axle Conversion for E-series Vans

Thanks! The rear end does sit a little higher. These pictures make it look level or maybe even a little lower but I'm also on a slight very slight incline.

MG Metalworks Radius Arm/Coil Spring Axle Conversion for E-series Vans

Ha ha, I actually like the 33s and knowing without a doubt I won't be rubbing anything no matter how rammed the tire is into the wheel well. But I may go to 35s when these run out.

MG Metalworks Radius Arm/Coil Spring Axle Conversion for E-series Vans

its so simple that since we did the install on my van (a couple weeks ago) I finally went to get the alignment checked just to make sure, nothing felt off, but I wasn't 100% sure. Well the guy came back and basically asked me why I came in because everything was within spec and handed me my...

MG Metalworks Radius Arm/Coil Spring Axle Conversion for E-series Vans

I just wanted to add that I have been extremely happy with my van ever since putting this kit on. I don't worry about anything when I drive anymore and feel like I am able to handle anything that's thrown my way. Wether it's dirt roads, downtown potholes or people slamming on the brakes in...
