That is very nice. Looks like almost the perfect vehicle to explore the desert in. I also like the color over the more popular olive drab you usually see. You should paint a phoenix on the side!:p
I really don't get it at all. You seem to be pulling an very large and heavy cargo trailer. I think you could do much better with a nice tent, waeco, and kitchen set up.
Most likely they will not rub but it does depend on the type of tire. I went to a 265/75 R16 in a Firestone Destination MT and at full turn the drivers side rubbed the frame a little bit. Not a big deal though. It even rubbed with my lift so I think it had to do with the large side lugs more...
Yeah the cans would get in the way. When getting the trailer I decided to skip the cans there and keep my spare fuel on the truck. The void left there is a great spot fot additional large item storage and now the wash basin.
I also was trying to figure out a solution to the sink by the faucet. It seemed to be a little more complicated than I really wanted to get. Being of limited engineering skills I got frustrated and just tossed this 11.4 quart rubbermaid wash basin up on the trailer. It landed between the...
I wanted some more organization to my Waeco 50L. Here is an easy $5 basket mod for your Waeco fridge. Not sure if it will work for Engel. It's a "Mainstays Home" slide out organizer found in the kitchen section at Walmart. It has two small coated wire baskets and a support stand. I simply...
I have an 03 Tacoma Dbl Cab TRD and love it off road. It does quite well. But I'd say the FJC has the edge off road in many areas, except visibility. Stronger modified Land Cruiser Prado frame, auto transmission from the V8
4Runner, stronger CV shafts, center diff with locker and A-Trac...
I saw this as well and asked Mario about it. He said a standard extension cord is fine for the Adventure Trailers. The manual is a bit generic on certain topics and the section you are refering to is more accurate if talking about large RV's.
I just picked up one of the Genius Tables and they are quite nice, but can't double as a stretcher. I've got the 4 foot model but they also make them in 6.5 (about $70) and 8 foot models. The Partner Stretcher Table looks very nice but you could get an aluminum folding backboard for less money...
I thought it was totally wireless. So I guess you still have the wired sensor probe thingy in the fridge which is then connected via wire to the wireless transmiter? This then transmits wireless to the other display?
So has anyone actually used one of these? If so what is your impression. I would like to use it in my Waeco CF-50. The Waeco is mounted in the box of the Chaser AT and I'd like to put the monitor in the nose box. Do you think it will transmit acurately through all that sheet metal?
I've got two large dogs, 85 lbs Husky and 100 lbs or so Malamute. The Husky will sleep inside if we allow it, which we generally don't, but will also be content sleeping outside teathered with a sleeping pad. So he is usually tied to a tree near the camper or more often up in the bed of the...
I find the matress on the series 3 Eezi-Awn is very comfortable. I'm 190 lbs and don't feel the wood floor. On our old popup I had to use some memory foam to supplement the 3" matress. Memory foam is very comfortable and I've used it down to 35 degrees without any of the hardness that other...
We have 16k on our 2006 Xterra and no issues yet. Of course only minimal wheeling. I've heard of some issues with the clutch and the diffs, front and rear. I'm sure it has happened and there may be some weakness. Seems like the new spider gears have helped with the rear diff. But I also...
