    FS: Tentrax Adventure Trailer

Got no more use for it, so I´m selling my Tentrax Adventure Trailer - it´s located south of Frankfurt/Germany. http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=281058771464 :Wow1:

    JK-Headlight Replacement Options?

I´d suggest a "real" foglight, like the 6045 or 6050 (just different mounting) from J.W.Speaker. On a side note: Over here in Europe the Rigids aren´t legal to use onroad, since they are not "E-marked" - the J.W.Speaker fogs are. Nevertheless, you´re allowed to run the Rigids (or non-E-marked...

Around the world in an amphibious Jeep

I´m working with Matthias Jeschke on his projects, on PNY2009 as well. I´m sorry to inform you, that the expedition is on hold - due to funding problems. The two JKs are garaged in the very east of Russia and I don´t have any information, when the trip will continue. But be sure that ExPo will...

    Side-mount Jerry can holders

Personally I find it more than questionable to hang any amount of combustible fluid on the outside of the vehicle at all, especially at a point that low and that near to passengers. On the rear of the vehicle, somewhat higher, perhaps hidden between spare wheel and vehicle: oh well...

They should run you around 1100$ in the US, don´t know if there´s any preferred reseller here on ExPo. It´s a product made in the US, otherwise I´d gladly offer a forums discount from the 4x4 shop I work for, but I don´t think it make any sense shipping them back over the pond.

To finally answer your questions (sorry for taking that long!): Nope, RTT isn´t mounted backwards, but have to tweak the mounts a bit (clearance to roof vs. camping table beneath the rack vs. length of the RTT vs. length of rack) That´s a Dassault 312, two V12 engines, 1160 horses, 380km/h, one...

    O'erlanderwagen build

Thanks a bunch for that idea, that was exactly what I didn´t think of. I´m running a FR slimline rack on my rig with the Maggiolina Carbon Fibre and was unable to fit FR table underneath.

New Apple products for 2012: Speculation and wish list

My personal Apple wish list: - 15" MBP w/ retina display, not much larger then my 13.3" MBP 2011 now, QuadCore i7 ULV, 1 TB SSD, no optical drive, retina display - "dumb" 27" display to match my Thunderbolt display, but cheaper - iPhone 5 128GB (yeah, I keep lots of photos and music on it!) -...

Expedition XJ Mods for Under 10K

That´s a nice budget to start with - should lead to a pretty capable vehicle. My ideas: Keep it low, keep it reliable and use high quality parts. Your OME HD suspension is a good point to start with. I´d finish it of with: - Currie upper and lower control arms - Currie Johnny Joint at axle...

    RTT on XJ?

I was running RTT on my XJ since our first trip to northern scandinavia back in 2000. I´ve had like 4 or 5 of them, bought them all used and sold every of them with some profit. The following text is written from a european point of view, I do NOT know the US market. The first decision you...

OK, "The Grey" has been on his first offroad run - once again in the french/italian alps. There should be some text and more photos in one of the upcoming JP Freek issues, but here some shots of the rig in a very nice surrounding... No problems with the rig so far, the suspension, the...

"Clean": Yes, but with slightly yellowish arifacts on the border of the "light field" - and it has a very clean cutoff. Overall: I like them!
