Thought this was a 1HD-FT alternator when I purchased it.
Bought the alternator and had a repair shop do a fresh overhaul - new brushes and bearings about 3 months ago.
Turned out it was for a 1HD-T and so does not fit
Would make a great spare for anyone with a 1HDT motor -- cant...
If its on there its a scam, she is not for sale!
In fact, I just upgraded from 33" MT's to 35" Yokohama AT's.
Work got ridiculously busy toward the end of the year, and what with Xmas expenses and commitments I had to put the turbo on hold ..... however .... I'm planning on having it on in...
Looks great! Ive used that POR15 stuff before, I was really amazed how thin the consistency was - I kinda expected it to be thick like tar, but its completely the opposite. Makes it much nicer to work with.
What are your plans for the trailer? Future mods/additions etc
Painted and mounted
Then I built a wiring harness for each side.
Took a piece of 1" round electrical conduit from Lowes and sprayed it with truck bed liner to match the inside of the tub. Cut a slit down the middle and pushed the wires through so they would be protected and hidden.
Then took...
Thanks Mark!
I like the idea of the pins to hold the table in place, i think im going to do that.
Ive also thought about using a small receiver hitch for a table, but im running out of room! Just mounted the propane tank on the right, and would like to eventually put one on the left.
Feels...
I agree with you there 100%, but my roof top tent and lid probably weighs 200lbs plus. And while my gas struts dont have a problem holding all that weight up, physically opening the lid by my 5ft 125lb wife is impossible. Having a tailgate allows the wife and kids to access the trailer without...
Just got done doing this to my trailer, check it out:

My motivation to do it was the same as the reasons you mentioned. I went with the plastic coated wire instead of chains to prevent rattling. Zero noises from...
I want the pax side of the trailer (right side if viewed from the back) to be my kitchen area, so decided to build a table to sit on the fender.
My little boy wanted to help sand the wood down, so I thought why not get them both involved so had them put their hand prints on the table :)
Pink for...
Finished the tail gate - very happy with how it came out in the end.
I cut in the holes for the paddle latches and fabbed up a couple tabs which I attached to the back of the latch for the cable supports with a couple of nuts on each side. Its strong enough for my 4 year old son and 2 year old...
Same here I have one of the rooftop tents, Very happy with it. Other companies should take a leaf out of CVT's customer service book, It's outstanding.
Sorry no experience with the trailers
Got the hole cut for the tail gate and braced up.
Had planned on using the existing metal from the tub for the tail gate, but it got kinda warped during cutting so Im going to have to skin it with fresh sheet metal
I ran across the same kind of thing a few months back inquiring about an immaculate Toyota pickup. Got the whole soldier story and free shipping from Hawaii BS. It was a real shame too, i thought I had stumbled across a real gem
Hi Basil,
I actually used 2 different independent shippers. I used a website called uship.com.
You put up online what you have needing shipped, and much like eBay companies and independent shippers bid on your load. If you accept the bid, it's a binding contract.
The guy who shipped it back from...
