I though of that of course...but i wasn't sure weather i was to do 1 in the middle, or 1 on each side.
Since my truck sometimes sits a bit crooked sideway depending on my load, airbags are indeed handy for that adjustment.
As for my u-bolt flip applicaton, looks like Airlift might be better...
I have found another company "airlift". $190 = $210 (free shipping) - $20 mail rebate at http://4wheelonline.com/Products.aspx?CategoryId=28115&ProductId=76536
So now i have AirLift vs Firestone.

I have a 91 ext-cab pickup with a camper in the back. I also did a u-bolt flip, so I now have 4 nuts & remaining of u-bolts ends sticking upward for about 1"-1.5" or so.
As camper is sagging when loaded from 5000lbs -6000lbs, (already have longer shackle/add-a-leaf), I would like airbags to...

yes, nidacore is not cheap! when i got a 4x8 sheet of 16mm plain non-laminated (note: flexible & floppy) it was $80 cad with no shipping. For the laminated one costs about <$300cad after tax!!! (I got mine from the Canadian distributor in Barrie, Ont.)
i can't tell u much w/ my 91 pickup 4cyl model. but i can tell u that i like my pizza cutter (33x9.5r15 bfg w/ 4.88/no body lift/1.5" ball joint spacer/2" longer shackle&1 add-a-leaf) very mucho when they cut deep down in the snow to get traction in our montreal snowy winter here. Have fun!
oh, they were flipped 3yrs ago when i though i was getting into rock crawling (so the bolt end/nuts won't get smash on rocks). In the end, with the camper, my rig ended up being mostly a winter rig on hwy & summer on fsr. ...
& about the valve that ride rite uses, how do u pump it up? Schreder...
Which brand/model is that?
Do u have it setup w/ tank & compressor or just airlines to valves?
Are there any existing car/wagon which use similar airbags? If so, i can try look them up at car-parts.com
Hi,
I'm searching for airbag for my 91 Pickup. i've already have AAL & 2" longer shackles, but i think with my loaded camper on i still sag just a tinny little bit in the back.
My problem is...i had my u-bolts flipped down side up from stock...so now i have 4 bolts ends sticking upward...
Here are some pictures of the camper on its legs that i promised a long long time ago. In fact, i've put the camper back on the truck yesterday for the winter.
Merry Christmas everyone.
