I cannot comment on most of your Q's as I've never had mine off completely...
One thing I'd recommend longer rivets that they originally used... on one of mine they started to pull out... come to find they were only riveted into the fiberglass and not the steel tubing just under the fat layer...
Hello.... is this brand new (or as brand new as can be since they went out of biz last October-ish)... to re-phrase: What year was this built.
Also is that just the photo, or to me it looks like the rear window door frame is bent?
Rain fly included?
You say the front support poles are missing...
Here is my second LED conversion - on this one I have "two" rows of white LED's (actually one continuous strip up one side, across, and down the other).
I would say this is the perfect balance. The one strip of red is plenty for night vision and two strips of white is not quite as bright as the...
Yes, that is an extreme example of the structural tubing failing due to rust.... yuck, anything is "fixable"... but not a job I'd want to do! I'm wondering if sleeving the tubing would not be an option if this were to happen... the hinge uses shims to make a tight fit and the tubing is only .065...

I've been converting everything I can light wise to LED to cut down on battery usage... since I use my lights a fair amount they were on my hit list...
My van, Ford E-350 Quigley with mild...

The low down - looks like the original splines on the FlipPacs are all the SAME... earlier I eluded to the notion that there may be two different types - not the case, it is simply a question of tolerances.
The SAW torsion bar DOES have a slightly different type of...
I've had my Quig 4x4 for a couple monnths now... it ha a slight pull to one side, not bad, but I'd like to get it aligned.
Looking at the front end configuration I'm not seeing a lot that can be adjusted.
is the toe and centering of the steering wheel about the only thing they can adjust on a...
