I have always wanted and FC 170. I'd look for one with less rust if possible.
You don't see many on the road.
You see them once and a while in Hemmings and Jeep Truck.com.
When my rig(s) is fully loaded I don't like to leave it to far out of sight with or without a roof rack.
When you start adding up all the extra goodies and equipment inside and on your rig it really adds up $$$.
You can use a bike lock cable type of lock and padlock some things on the rack. So...
I'm Cool now...
I painted the center of my black hard top with Solar Flex roofing paint. You can't see it from the side of the Jeep but what a difference in inside temp!
I have an REI Camp Dome (4 person) and I know whatt you mean about the ventilation.
I have thought about making some nylon panels that I could velcro in over the screened section to make the tent a 4 season tent.

Maybe the Overland Package has something in store?
I am so exicted I don't know what to do.
Should I buy a Panda rather than a Jeep Rubicon Unlimited?
Give me a break!
Why not call the just call the Panda a Fiat 4x4 car.
It sound like an internal issue:(
I'm not sure why articulation would make it leak though.
I have had some 90 wt gear oil blow back up to the ARB air switches when the locker was released but nothing like you described.
Huntoon
If we are thinking of the same place in Anza...As far as the drop off you wouldn’t be able to get thru the squeeze with a full size rig.
In Canyonlands I've been thru Elephant Hill and to the Dolls House in a stock Dodge Ramcharger. Width was usually the limiting factor with a full...
