You are way on point Scott! The 94,95 and 97 Defenders were woefully lacking in rear seating, but they hit a home run compared to this truck. I'll also add to some of the points above- Dressing this truck up with bumpers, sliders, smaller wheels, larger tires, lift, etc isn't going to help it...

Yes- If the jeep is built by AEV or modified before being sold as a new truck, the AEV items and conversions are covered if done by an authorized AEV sanctioned/Jeep Dealer. D

Well, I actually ordered them with the Jeep, but now that they have arrived, I think the cost of changing the hubs, getting adapters to take care of the off-set (and not knowing for sure that they will fit- i.e.: it's a gamble!), and three new tires. I may return the wheels, order some AEV...

We went with the black top on her Rubi- because honestly, mine is less likely to see open top time. Her's might see more- and the black cannot get scratched. D

Let's keep in mind- this AEV was not designed by me or them to be a rock crawler- rather an overland truck that can "get you there". Beowulf- The dealer misunderstood which seat covers I wanted. The complete seats are enroute. These are just the seat back version. Unfortunately, G.E.A.R is not available for the 2011 60/40 split seats, so I may take two of the full bench seats to a canvas shot to have them altered to fit. D

My understanding- so successful the too colors, that they temporarily stop releasing trucks in those colors so that they can sell off some of the other colors. Just what I am told however. D
