    Lightweight

I'm curious how you guys are mounting the ammo cans to the bed? Are you putting some sort of rubber bushing in between the two? Clean looking truck. Lots of potential on the Taco's.

    Crosslander

Anyone heard of this... http://www.crosslander4x4.com/index.php I've been keeping up with this thing for over a year now. Looks like it will be coming to the US very soon. Late 2005. Nice lil engine, a solid axle, decent interior...looks promising. Oh, and a dang good price - 17k to 22k.

    Buy a good tent!

Yeah but when it's 100+ during the day and 90's at night...well, it gets a bit stifling. Snow may be messy but you can always put more clothing on. Down here it's not a matter of staying warm but being as cool as possible. I run hot to begin with.

Umkay, maybe it's just me but what's the white stuff? Snow? Looks like bubbles to me.

Desertdude -1997 80 series build up

I knew a guy that would dust his Xterra - ARB, 32" SSR's, Spare tire carrier, roof rack, fiberglass fenders...was pathetic! Spend all that money and don't do anything with it. Then he went to school in Lubbuck. Home of red dirt! He was constantly dusting it out there. Then he traded it in...

Desertdude -1997 80 series build up

Doubt it's ever even seen a mud puddle much less a dirt road! Lots of potential there. Minus the bling factor of course.

    A 2004 Tacoma grows up

Those are quite slick! Too bad we already have a decent tent and too bad we don't get to even use it enough. BTW DD, your rig sure has come a long way! :ylsmoke:

    Overland Nissan

Thanks Blue! Not much inside. CB, Cabella's compass/thermometer, the Rancho In-cab controller, and a couple of floorboard lights. Oh and a baby seat! :) I need more gadgets - ARB controller, gps, more power points, and would also like to wire up a winch controller as well.

    '01 Tacoma Front Bumper

That's a sweet kit for the Taco. Anything to get that rock anchor up will help! Nissan's aren't that bad fortunately.

Axe vs Mattock/Pick = The Pulaski Axe

That Max Ax is nice but a little on the pricey side. Not that we get a lot here but on days of rain/slop where we wheel, a shovel sure can come in handy. I could see the handiness of the Max Ax when camping though.

    Overland Nissan

You are going to absolutely love it. Go ahead and make your travel reservations! You'll definitely want to go and perhaps bring one of their TD powered Toy's or Nissans back as well.
