I totally agree. They weren't doing anything crazy. I believe they were on post at Fort Hood. Just trying to get used to the new weight. I don't think I'd be comfortable in a vehicle that wide and heavy.
A week or so ago I did happen upon a brand new Mog out on the highway. Didn't...
Nice looking pix. Looks and sounds like everyone had fun. Nothing too difficult just some nice trail running. What makes it better is no one broke anything.
Have a buddy going being deployed to Iraq tell me about the new driving class that some of the guys are undergoing. Seems as though the new armor their putting on the H1 is extremely heavy. 'S matter of fact he stated that turning at anything over 10 mph will cause the vehicle to lift tires...
Interesting. 85k$ though? Sounds a bit much. It sure looks H1 like to me. Enough to wonder what the lawyers are going to say.
Can't wait to look at the videos.
Yeah baby! :victory: I was totally surprised when I saw that! I was just emailing them to let them know what I drove. Never did I expect to see that!
Awesome magazine, too.
Wow! Talk about minimalism! That's a sweet bumper. If we didn't have such a high risk of deer/vehicle encounters I'd seriously consider something like that.
Nice and clean.
Wow! Those are impressive numbers to me! I thought it'd cost significantly more than that to ship. Like 10k$ to 15k$ pluss from Australia. Considering the distance difference, it'll be more but not as much as I anticipated. Maybe.
John, that's a sweet rig you have there. Man this forum has some really nice looking rigs.
Loved this one too! Reminds me of some pix of Oz rigs for sure.
There's a rig built in Oz that is used commonly with mining companies but can be outfitted for expeditions as well. Not a great RTI but is tough looking and is made to be repaired by local materials regardless of location. I'll try and dig up the info.
See, now I like that idea! My wife's concern was if I were to carry anything large like a piece of furniture. But if everything is removable...hmmmmm....oh honey!
Did you consider the ARB space cases? I kinda looked into them but couldn't find a price.
