    Trying out the new tablet for photos and for navigating the forums I have some learning to do. First off the toolroll I just picked up holds 18 wrenches on the back, 4 large zippered pockets, and one very large but shallow pocket.

    That's one think I like about Texas....75 on two lanes where in Missouri its 55......Houston and Dallas at 95 was sketchy to me but I did it with everyone else. LOL

    I've been driving it as much as possible just to try and work the bugs out before my trip, and found the lower radiator hose leaking due to reusing the old spring clamp easy cheap fix. No good pics of the sub yet but here it is.

    yeah I wanted to test it out when I first got mine so I went down the gravel road 2wd accel and then 4w auto accel its amazing how fast the auto kicks in and how smooth it does it.

    got it all back together and fired it up.....knock-knock-knock shut if off...… disconnected the plug for the coils.... pulled the fuel pump relay and cranked it over for about 3 minutes or so, reconnected everything and she fired up and purred like a kitten no knocks, smooth idle...blah...

    nope I didn't leave it off the first time, yes I reused it but I made sure it was still pliable but yes I be leave it was sucking air, mine had a green O-ring, the new oil pump can with two black ones a skinny and fat...the timing cover gasket set came with three different ones, black skinny...

    Started putting everything back together and got the crank shaft pulley and it says to tighten to 240 ft lbs with the old bolt, back it out and then tighten to 37 ft lbs + 140 degrees...I was curious to what that might be my torque wrench only goes up to 259 and at 259lbs I still have a little...

    once you get the cladding on you have to put vinyl on the rear side glass to make it look like the avi…. looking great!

    another thing if you are considering doing the body work....don't try and overlap sheet metal get a pack of these body panel clips at HF.. they work great and put the proper spacing between the panels....also a brass spoon for welding will help too....I don't know if you know much about body...
