How Do you Secure Expensive Camera Gear in Your Car while Travelling?

I agree with W-Utah, Insur it. I can't tell you how many times I've recounted the time I missed an amazing black bear because my gear was too secure. Yet when my 400mm f2.8 tipped over and broke I only cared about the repair time. I usually secure the camera in an open or easy to open soft...

Utility Body Trailer - Post Build Tour

I got to expo sat eve. We were desert camping Friday night and just enjoyed it longer than expected. At expo we stayed with my buds who drive old steel. Amazing how many new trailer dealers were at expo. Lots of cool ideas. I suspect someday we'll see more shops selling DIY trailer kits. It's...

Its called the world's most treacherous road

Not much wiggle room, but for my money nothing ups the pucker factor more than hairpin turns pointing downwards when you're praying that brake pedal doesnt give a hair.

Adventure trailers, kitchens and bear safety

Dogs are usually the first to know a bear be near by. We use a Trasharoo and is keep it 75' down from camp. If we have 2-3 cans I'll string up a noise maker. Our food stays in trailer. Either in frig or sealed Tupperware. Upstairs we have bearspray and the magnum. I've thought about adding...

    Service Bed input needed :0

What are you towing a trailer with? Regardless, I wouldn't start by chopping this heavyweight. Short beds can be found. Do you know how to do a nationwide CL search? Sent from my iToaster

Maybe the $80,000 Cadillac of Offroad Trailers

Very true, and for many reason$ this wouldnt be my choice, but there's something to be said for having the ability to get your trailer further back in the sticks than others, unhitch and have your everyday truck ready to explore/hunt/etc. I just like seeing all the bling at ExPo grow.
