******** to the power of 3.
If you think the field desk or the surgical table are options to go camping, I want to see your rigs -- they must have at least the off-road capcity of an M-35A2. Having intimate experience with both of those items, I can attest that empty they weigh a metric butt-load...
I use Scepter MFC and MWC and use the Super Siphon as well; one each for fuel and water. Hose extends from my rear Jerry can carrier to the filler.
You can also get them locally at Harbor Freight.
All logical reasons for the well-thought out path you took.
That said i recommend you beef up your bracket with a few gussets, add some protection to the accessory platform, make sure the frame bolts are grade 8 (thinking of bolt shear if the platform does happen to get pushed up) and take it...
It took 4 months to get you the skids?
Mine the ore; smelt the ore; process the ignot; roll into sheet; purchase the sheet; bend it to the CAD pattern; ship to you? Yeah, 4 months seems about right...
Clever - nice job. Might want to flip the carrier piece, too so that the lip is up vice down giving you a little more clearance and less likely to grab apiece of trail. A few holes drilled to promote drainage would be a nice touch as well.

Glad I checked this out on the Camping Equipment Thread - that's important to know!
And I thought I was the only one...

Of course I go for the SPAM Lite because I'm very health conscious, don't you know.

I'll pile on too. Great report -- one of the more enjoyable series on the Forum that captures not only scenery but aviation history and little known America. I've learned a lot. Thanks!
I have a friend who runs one on his buggy with the 22R and it seems to work for him in a variety of attitudes but I know no details.
You probably already thought of this but I recommend checking out IH8MUD and TTORA forums on the 4Runner and Toy trucks - those are the guys performing and...
