Yeah an inch wider - who would have figured? I had to put it on the scale since I could feel it when I carried both wheels. You too? What did you regear to? People thought I was crazy when I regeared to 5.29 but it's spot on perfect. How do you like the Deaver 11 leaf-packs? I run Dakars...

Coast 2 Coast 2 Coast, an exercise of reflection

Yes, I'm guilty of neglecting the Mid-west; having grown up there I take it for granted. I need to change that attitude. Nicely documented report Kristian. Your beautiful pictures of striking scenery have convinced me to put the UP on my short-list of travel locations. Thanks for your...

    Why steel wheels?

Yeah, REALLY! That's hilarious! :Wow1: Enjoyed seeing it parked on the grass at GSMTR - D'oh! My OEM Tacoma Al 'starfish' wheels weigh a pound more than my LC 80 Al wheels - go figure. I consider every pound on my Tacoma - more weight = less power from the 3RZ.

    CB Radio Opion

I have it and like it. Reports are that it broadcasts clearly and it seems to have pretty good range in the open. I use a Wilson flex antenna. Bought as a package from Right Channel Radio who offers great customer support.

    Ragasco LPG bottle

Corey, 2 things: 1. Your truck is dirty; just not used to seeing that...;) 2. Tell me that you have more than that bungy cord and folding chair securing that potentially explosive projectile.

How ARB just managed NOT to lose my business (rant over)

Take a deep breath and step away from the mosquito net... now pick up the telephone and call tech support.:coffeedrink: I've purchased several ARB products, but not a mosquito net, and am thoroughly pleased with them all. When I've had questions with any of the items I either went back to the...

    Ragasco LPG bottle

I'm surprised - my experience has been good, rather problem-free, and no different than my experience with steel tanks except for the light-weight and ability to see the liquid volume. Can you cite the reviews or describe the events that you heard which steered you away from this product? No...

    Operation: Hood Stick Removal

Wow - we are on such different wavelengths. And I'm a little familiar with things with "TEQ" cast in their forgings, too. Lets just agree that you are always right and possess a limited appreciation for my feeble attempt at sarcastic humor.:p

Uh, not too retro... that's the same mechanism found on Tacoma's. Satirical wit - not for everyone! :)
