Heater type for Kodiak Canvas tent?

I've run a Buddy heater all night without issue several times. This was in a thin wall coleman style tent though. In something canvas like a Kodiak, it probably wouldnt be necessary... but it would still be safe. Get the bulk adapter to a 10lb tank and stay warm all night. Life is too short to...

    3.8l death & warranty replacement.

Thats not legal - see Magnuson Moss. They have to prove that the modification caused the specific problem in order not to warranty it.

Looking for camp table recommendations (must pack inside of my storage drawer)

Sorry I missed this - the top on the Guide table I have is hard panels (each one about 8 inches wide) inside a smooth vinyl like fabric. Its much easier to wipe down and clean compared to the aluminum roll top ones in my experience (not easy to clean between the slats).

Looking for camp table recommendations (must pack inside of my storage drawer)

Alps Mountaineering Guide Table https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007S3PURA/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I love mine. It raises up to bar counter height for use as the traveling pub. 22" x 60" surface, stores in a 8" x 9" x 31" bag.

Cummins 2.8L Diesel "Repower" engine kit

You're right - its not cheap. My point is, what new crate engine swap is? The crate engine swap market in general is aimed at a relatively slim cross section of the populace. We can't fault this engine for that. It's not supposed to compete with the guy who replaces his blown 4.0L with another...

Cummins 2.8L Diesel "Repower" engine kit

I don't get this logic. How much do you expect a brand new turbo diesel engine to cost - let alone with a conversion kit of any kind?

    HEMA Explorer North America

I have a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 2014 edition which is a bit of a monster with a 10" screen, and also a smaller Samsung (I forget which model). The HDD I have is this one, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005MNGQ6C/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=BBHUPXQPM6M3&coliid=I2HDEH7UFRJRX9&psc=1...

    HEMA Explorer North America

I really have high hopes for this still. I just bought a 1TB remote hard drive (USB powered) that I plan to download all maps to, and keep it in the glovebox of the truck connected back to the tablet for storage. But I need the ability to download maps via a computer, and save to the HDD...

The Reality of Handling Trailers in the Back Woods

I have yet to have any major issue navigating my Kamparoo through the tight woods of New England, including on some very difficult tracks and turning around on dead end roads between many trees. That being said, I am re-working some of the trailer this winter and considering adding a small...

    Trail Tools

Jelorian, sounds very much like my tool kit except instead of 3/8 and 1/2 tools I primarily have 1/4 and 3/8 (its all part of a nice blow molded tool kit). You dont list any regular wrenches in your carry though? i also make sure to have the front CV axle socket (32mm for me) and a 1/2 breaker...

The importance of a rear dust light in the southwest.

    Best roof top tent ever.

This always cracks me up. Why on earth would you put the tent cot on the trailer. All you're doing is making it harder to get in and out of, and look ridiculous!

^^^ Thank you. I've been wondering how everyone here can so indignantly control how others behind them drive.

    Cold weather Diesel starting.

Probably wasn't turning over fast enough, did you mention which oil you have in there? Might also be worth checking the alt to make sure its charging as well as it can.

    Cold weather Diesel starting.

Another thing you might do, if you need to get it started - disconnect the fuel solenoid wire to keep fuel from flowing. With a very fresh battery, crank the engine over for like 10-15 seconds. Pause, repeat. Reconnect fuel solenoid wire, try to start. This will allow the engine to build a...

The 300Tdi is one tenth as complex as the V8 in day-to-day operation. You did not answer really any of my questions so it is going to be hard to help you. Instead to trying to stumble around maybe try paying attention and working methodically.
