For anyone interested, we recently mounted a Shadow awning to one of our shop trucks. The awning mounts directly to the tent via 2 Alu-Cab corner mount brackets, so no additional mounting to your vehicles roof rack is necessary. 107 sq.ft of instant shade deployable by a single person...

In terms of fitment, these campers come in one universal size and have been test fitted on Tacoma short and long bed pickups as well as Chevy Colorado's, but as more of these land in the US, I'm sure they will be test fitted to other trucks in the compact truck sector.
