Far from rabid. Whiny people irritate me. People always want what they can’t have. If Toyota was moving towards turbo v6 and the domestic was keeping v8s. Everyone would cry they couldn’t have a v8. It toyota had a boxed frame tundra and the domestic had c channel. Everyone would cry because...
You know the 1st gen Tacoma’s has a c channel frame [emoji12]. Sorry had to.
Toyota trucks have always had worse mpg. My fj60 gets worse mileage than the 81 Cherokee with a 4.2 I learned to drive in. But the Cherokee weighed a thousand pounds less. But in reality my tundra isn’t that bad. I got...
Nothing wrong with a c channel. Done with this subject. What’s wrong with the 4Runner frame? Why do you guys think manufacturers have to change every couple years?
Toyota has always been a very conservative company. That’s what I like about them. They make a product and they are very good at it. Changing they’re stuff every couple years is not conducive to reliability. Hell everyone thinks the 350 was such a reliable engine and Cheney made it for what...
How in the world does anyone go off road in either of those? [emoji849]. I have a unimog and a I enjoy taking my tundra and fj60 off-road just as much.
You obviously don’t understand it if you’re crying about a 40000 dollar Tacoma not realizing WITH inflation it’s the same price as the price you paid for yours. Silly little man. [emoji12].
Early 4.0. That’s it. [emoji1303]. What rear seal are you talking about? The actuator has to be replaced if it’s never used. Just like any electronic switched 4wd [emoji849] no issues with the headers.
Which ones have head gasket, transmission and axle issues?
The first 2 years of the 4.0 has a rare occurrence of head gasket issues. Rare. I’ve never heard of transmission issues. It was the same tranny used in the land cruiser. And zero axle issues.
